The Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show is the largest Arabian show in the world. Below is a picture of a halter horse being shown.

Here is a picture of Nathan, Preston, Nicole, Vicky, and Dave all watching the evening classes of the show.

Here is Preston and I watching the show inside the big arena.

Here is a beautiful horse being shown in a halter class.

It is soooo sunny here! Haha I think this picture is so funny. We couldn't even see the camera screen outside after we took it because the sun was so bright. We had a good laugh when we saw it later that evening.

Here is a picture of Preston warming up his horse on Friday morning.

And here he is showing! Preston did so well. Ever day that he showed (Tuesday through Friday) he improved his reining score. Preston really has not had that much training time on his horse (Buckaroo) compared to a lot of the other competitors there.

Preston did not make it to the finals because the competition was just so tough, but he did get 3rd in a half-arab snaffle bit class!

Here is Nathan warming up a horse that a good friend of theirs owns. Nathan unfortunately zeroed on his first go around riding Top Gun for the Arabian futurity because his horse didn't slide stop when he asked him to. It was too bad because his horse was the talk of the show. He had one of the best horses there. The other trainers told him they were glad he didn't make it to the finals so they didn't have to compete against him.

We were 10 degrees yesterday, this morning a balmy 16. Cute sunburn on your nose. Tell Preston congratulations. We're glad he placed.

Good job Preston on your performance. That sunshine looks so nice. Cute as ever Lisa.
