Honeymoon!

Preston and I got married! Our wedding day was beautiful. We are up in Park City for our honeymoon and having a blast. Our hotel room is SO NICE. It has a whole kitchen, washer and dryer, king sized bed, a porch, 2 TV's, a dishwasher, a jetted tub, etc etc. We just don't ever want to leave! Last night we went to Park city for dinner and ate at this really yummy steakhouse called Prime. It was delicious!

Tomorrow we are going to drive to Jackson Hole to go to the Bar J Wranglers concert. It's going to be lots of fun!

George Strait Concert

On July 17th Preston and I went to the George Strait concert at the Usana Amphitheater in Salt Lake. We got VIP tickets because Preston knows the right people and got our tickets for free!! (They would have been $225 a piece) We got VIP parking which allowed us to park really close to the amphitheater and we also got a VIP dinner which consisted of yummy chicken, ribs, macaroni salad, corn bread, watermelon, beans, and ice water. It was fantastic! We also got to sit in a booth where there were 4 padded chairs and a table. We had pretty good seats, not the best seats in the house but they were pretty dang good.

And in case any of you didn't know, Preston is the biggest George Strait fan alive. He loved it.

Blake Shelton also opened for George Strait. He was decent, but we were still anxious to hear George.

And here's the King of Country Music! George Strait himself. Live in living color. He truly is an amazing singer. He sounds the same live as he does on his CD's. He's really good.

Great Western Horse Show

On July 17-18 Aliysa and Jace showed "Peanut" at the Great Western Fox Trotter Show in Farmington, Utah. "Peanut" is owned by Randy and Cathy Olson. Randy lives in Rigby and I trained his horses while I was up at school this past winter semester. Randy was so nice to bring Peanut down and teach the kids basic horsemanship. Aliysa and Jace did remarkably well for their first horse show (and for the horse's first show!). Aliysa and Jace both took home many ribbons. They both took home 2nd place ribbon in a Beginner Youth Fox Trot class and Beginner Youth Western Pleasure class. Way to go kids!

Bridal Shower

My old young women leaders decided to throw a bridal shower for me and a friend of mine who is in the ward and also getting married. It was a fun shower and I got a lot of useful things.

The Utah Grand Horse Show

On June 20th I went to the Utah Grand Horse Show in Spanish Fork. I showed Jazmine in 3 performance events and 2 halter events. I won 4 out of the 5 classes I entered. The one that I didn't win, I got 2nd place. The classes were big, there were about 10 people in each class I was in. It was a really fun show. It was only a one day show, so it was less stressful. It was cool and even rained in the evening, which was nice. Here is a picture of the Stephen's Fox Trotters gang.

While I was at the show, Preston was running the Ragnar Relay race. He ran a total of 18 miles. He ran the whole time during his 3 legs. His last leg was 8 miles up hill. He said he about died because he was already really sore by the time he had to run the last leg. He did awesome though, I'm so proud of him! He could barely walk the next day but I think he's glad he still did it. His team got I think 68th out of over 700 teams. Not too shabby! Preston is pretty amazing.
